To start off, wear a comfortable shirt and shorts, along with soft sneakers or ballet slippers. When you are ready, you can purchase Irish dance shoes (ghillies) from our vendor, Teresa Conway, and our Claddagh uniform (black t-shirt and shorts). Don't forget a water bottle!
"My daughter has been dancing with Claddagh since she was 4 years old. I was referred by another Claddagh dancer after my daughter showed disinterest in field sports. Claddagh has given her the opportunity to thrive as an athlete, learn the responsibilities of being a teammate, excel with poise while performing before large audiences and making life long friendships with her dance mates at the studio. Maire and the teachers are committed to your child being the best dancer they can be. The mentoring that is shown from the older dancers to the young ones is something I love to see as a mother. Claddagh has also opened avenues for my daughter to travel and meet new friends from distant places. Lastly, Irish Dancing has to be one of the most exciting styles of dance to experience. I give Claddagh 5 stars for being such a valuable part of my daughter's journey."

"Fantastic teachers. Our kids are learning from the best and they have all become family to us."
